Install Barcode Bridge Station

Once the download finishes, follow these steps to install.

The first time you open it, macOS may show “Barcode Bridge Station” cannot be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. Click Done, then open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll to the bottom, and click Open Anyway next to the Barcode Bridge Station notice. Confirm with Open.

4

Grant camera and local network permissions

On first launch, macOS prompts to allow Camera access (for desktop scanning) and Local Network access (so your phone can find Barcode Bridge Station on Wi-Fi). Click Allow on each prompt. You can revisit these later in System Settings > Privacy & Security.
