Q. What operating systems does TekTrack support?
A. TekTrack is supported on most current Windows operating systems. This includes: Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, Windows Vista, Windows 2008 Server, and Windows 7. Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the operating systems are supported.

Q. How is TekTrack licensed?
A. A license is needed for each computer that the TekTrack software is installed on. There are no annual renewal fees for TekTrack licenses. There are also no license restrictions for the number of users operating within your system.

Q. Can I import my existing recipients and users into TekTrack?
A. Yes. TekTrack allows you to import your existing recipients and users. We can also work with you to automate importing data at scheduled intervals. Please contact a TekCore representative for more information about automated importing.

Q. Can I synchronize my mobile wirelessly? Can I synchronize my mobile through a desktop connection?
A. Yes. TekTrack supports both cradled and wireless synchronization.

Q. What sort of technical support do you offer?
A. TekTrack is provided with 2 years of free e-mail support. We also offer a premium live technical support that is available through an annual subscription and includes services such as phone support and remote assistance.

Q. Which mobile computers/barcode scanners does TekTrack support?
A. We support many brands of mobile devices by request. As partners with Motorola and Janam, we provide and support the following series of mobile computers (their information can be viewed through our online store):

Q. Which desktop hardware does TekTrack support?
A. For stationery signature pads, TekTrack supports Topaz Systems. For label printers, we support label printers that are compatible with your preferred label designing software (either Seagull Scientific's BarTender or NiceLabel). For desktop barcode scanners, we are unaware of any that are incompatible (most are standardized).

Q. Is there a way to use proprietary hardware with TekTrack?
A. Yes. TekTrack provides a plug-in architecture that allows for your IT to interface it with many brands of mobile computers, label printers, signature pads, or desktop barcode scanners.
